**Role**:
The Construction Junior Project Manager is to plan, cost, execute, and finalize projects according to company and client requirements. This includes project scoping, budget and cost control, acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, suppliers, consultants, or contractors to deliver projects according to plan.
The Construction Junior Project Manager will be required to liaise directly with the Project Owner and client to ensure that the projects objectives are met though the full project life cycle (Initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project).
It will also include the management, setting deadlines and communicating with the respective stakeholders both internally and externally ensuring that the projects stay on budget, scope, schedule and making the necessary adjustments to meet new requirements.
**Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required**:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Quantity Surveying
Project Management qualification SACPMP or PMP
Registered SACAP, SACPCMP, SACQSP or PMP
Minimum of 10 years experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of project development and execution.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the provision of water and/or agricultural sector
Drivers licence and own vehicle
Strong MS Excel and MS Project skills
Working knowledge of construction contracts such as JBCC
