_Fleet Supervisor/Logistics Supervisor_

**Purpose Of The Job**:

- Responsible for managing, planning and coordinating transport operations, which includes delivery and driver management._

**Qualifications**
- _Tertiary qualification in Transport or relevant qualification - Essential_

**Experience**
- _Union Experience as well as knowledge of the NBCRFLI- Beneficial_
- _3 - 5 years’ experience within the transport industry_
- _Proficient user of Microsoft Office Applications - Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook_
- _Knowledge of vehicle loading, staff management & planning._

**Be able to qualify for the following**:

- _Fitness for Duty _
- _Valid Driver’s License_
- _License Code C1-EC_
- _Own Transport_
- _After hours and weekend work at short notice._
- _Pdp_

**Responsibilities**:

- _In charge of the day-to-day operations of the Fleet Section_
- _Managing, monitoring and developing a team of drivers_
- _Responsible for all dispatch, routing and tracking of trucks_
- _Manage the fleet of trucks and ensure all trucks are properly maintained, services, licensed and roadworthy_
- _Maintain Truck service schedule as per manufacturer's specifications_
- _Plan and implement truck budgets_
- _Monitor and track diesel consumption and record accurately_
- _Positively build customer and supplier relationships_
- _Ensure that complaints are dealt with professionally and expediently_
- _Manage driver hours, overtime and leave and ensure strict compliance_
- _Arrange for training and induction of all new staff_
- _Adhere and understand the critical importance of consistently complying with all rules, standards and regulations and ensure the cleaning and disinfection of trucks_
- _Maintain health and safety standards within your work area_
- _Identify and report problem areas_
- _Ensure all activities (Liters used, KM travelled, hours worked) for all staff are captured weekly_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R25 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
