To adopt a leadership role within the School ensuring a holistic view to learners in their care, promoting the general progress and well-being of individual learners and teachers specifically focusing on ensuring a high level of administrative support. To create a positive learning environment and motivate Teachers and learners to ensure their effective and efficient teaching and education at the highest level.
**STRATEGIC CONTRIBUTION OF THIS POSITION**:

- Determining a vision for the SP in accordance with Inspired expectations and the unique features of the campus and surrounds.
- Collation of important term calendar dates to be submitted to the Executive Head of the school a term in advance including all cultural, social, academic, sporting and outreach events.
- Interviewing prospective families for SP, conduct tours of the campus.
- Oversee the Awards Committee and responsible for all aspects around awards ceremonies for: Sport, Culture and Academics.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Overseeing special functions.- Maintaining standards of discipline according to the code and investigate and/or Chair hearings.- Monitoring and leading the vision for the co-curricular offering.- Ensuring that all Reddam events fall in line with the Reddam House Brand.- Overseeing marketing of the SP.- Overseeing the SP facet of the School Magazine.- ACADEMIC RESPONSIBILITY:
- Liaising with the College Academic Head
- Setting academic targets and evaluating the outcomes on a continuous basis.
- Setting the exam timetables which need to be drawn up timeously and with consideration to individual teacher workloads.
- Overseeing the creation of cycle test timetables and drawing these up timeously, with consideration to departmental needs and individual teacher workloads.
- Creating the Exam booklets, overseeing the compilation and distribution of exam booklets for each grade prior to assessments.
- Overseeing compilation of termly mark schedules and end-of-year promotion schedules.
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:
- Relevant teaching qualification or experience in similar field
- Several years in a management or similar role.
- Successful track record of good planning and organizing skills.
- Good track record of working in school communities.
- Intermediate MS office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Google suit for education
- Strong planning, organising and reporting skills
- Good communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
