**Job Purpose**:
The Impact and Sustainability Officer will lead, coordinate, and support the Environmental policy for the SAGA division, aligned with global goals, timeframes, and objectives.
Reporting to Head Governance, Strategic Insights & Environment, the Officer will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement and monitor sustainability initiatives across business operations to ensure our organization's activities are environmentally and socially responsible and aligned with our mission and goals while amplifying the Corporate Sustainability Agenda. Support the strategy roadmap for Cipla Foundation while maintaining communication and engagement with stakeholders at all levels

**Accountabilities**:
Support the Strategy Development and Implementation

Assist with facilitating & executing strategies for SAGA to address issues such as energy use, resource conservation, recycling, pollution reduction, carbon footprint, waste elimination, transportation, education, and building design

Ensure implementation of sustainability projects through research of sustainability issues, concerns, or stakeholder interests to develop and monitor success metrics of
the programs

Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships

Compliance and Risk Management

Impact Measurement through reliable data collection for all Impact & Sustainability initiatives

Reporting

Digital & educational support role for Operations, EHS & Cipla Ajuga data analysis and reporting

**Education Qualification**:
Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Finance, Economics or a related field

**Relevant Work Experience**:

- 2+ years of work experience in sustainability, corporate social responsibility, or a related field

Skilled in:

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management skills and experience with sustainability projects.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of waste management and recycling principles.
- Familiarity with ISO standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Passion for sustainability and social responsibility.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
