**Lecturer in the Department of Anthropology**
** The Requirements**
- Some teaching experience is required. The incumbent should be acquainted with online/blended teaching, testing, and marking or be willing to acquire these skills immediately once in the job through workshop attendance or other developmental opportunities.
- Ability to teach and research in some or all of the following disciplinary areas: Physical/Biological Anthropology, including Forensic Anthropology. Experience in teaching quantitative research methods is highly desirable.
- Ability to supervise postgraduate students is required.
- An anthropologist with interdisciplinary work in the sciences and humanities will be advantageous.
- Approaches to teaching & learning and research, emphasising engagement with communities, will be an advantage.
- Some evidence and experience in conducting research.
- Some record of administration, management and/or leadership roles (leadership roles may be informal).

Basic Pensionable Salary per annum: R 633,149.00
Cost to Company per annum (Approximately): R 826,949.00
