Supply Chain Excellence Manager - Warehousing

Location

Centurion, South Africa

Position Overview

The position will report into the VP Supply Chain Excellent, responsible for SAP materials management, with a strong focus on system optimization which include the movement and storage of materials across multiple Tronox locations. Starting in the Australia region, this Tronox role will be responsible for the global materials management template design, creation and maintenance of standard guidelines, business process design, establishing operational controls, new system user acceptance & training, as well as the successful implementation of processes within warehousing. This includes ownership of relevant end-to-end processes across functional silos, geographic and business unit boundaries related to materials management.

**This role is accountable for**:
ENSURE ALIGNMENT WITH FUNCTIONAL DIGITAL STRATEGY
- Partner with the Business Process Integration (BPI) team to document the materials management business processes.
- Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and implementation partners to ensure the successful SAP S/4 HANA implementation within the MRO business.
- Ensure business processes are documented in alignment with the global standards.
- Ensure process controls are documented in alignment with the global standards working closely with Internal Audit
- Ensure Functional Executive Team Members, Functional Lead, and Decision Authority are well informed of program progress.
- Lead the change management strategy for the SAP S/4 HANA implementation and digital transformation within the MRO business, including communication, training, and user adoption.
- Drive process standardization and optimization within the MRO supply chain, leveraging SAP S/4 HANA and other digital technologies to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve service quality.
- Identify and implement quick wins.

Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of professional experience with a mining/chemical company or in a related industry.
- Ten years relevant experience in a supply chain (warehousing) role. Prefer managerial experience in warehouse operations and optimization across multiple sites.
- Experience with an ERP implementation or consolidation involving materials management.
- Functional experience with SAP modules IM, MM, WM/EWM.
- Strong knowledge of MRO business processes and SAP S/4 HANA supply chain modules and functionalities.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex warehousing projects.
- Prove track record of working within a diverse, multi-cultural, cross-functional and global organization
- Ability to travel globally
