Work Description_
- TA to National TB LON to create data visualisations and improve data use
- Assist in the design, development, maintenance, and monitoring of databases.
- Assist in the collection, storage, organization, management, and reporting of data and information relating to inputs, activities, deliverables, outcomes, performance indicators, and reports of a project
- Assist with data monitoring and data quality audits
- Develop and support the implementation of M&E activities
- Work with NDoH to develop dissemination outputs
- Develop tools required to carry out annual and baseline project evaluations.
- Assist with any ad hoc requests made by the NDoH

**Duties**:

- Liaise with all Stakeholders as necessary towards the achievement of Organizational, Departmental and Project goals
- Data analytics and visualisation of large NDoH data sets
- Generation of data insights, reports and presentations to support National TB LON
- Capacity building of Health Information System Electronic Tools (Example: TIER.net)
- Support all Health Information Systems
- Support the Data Management Team in all data management functions
- Adhere to all data management SOP’s, guidelines and confidentiality agreements
- Maintaining data confidentiality according to data sharing agreement only
- Completion of Timesheets and Weekly Schedules
- Collect Supporting Documentation
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures according to prescribed procedures and legislation
- Report all unsafe activities to Senior Management/Human Resources
- Adhere and maintain Decision making authority as allocated to the position.

**_Education_**
- Diploma in Information technology
- Grade 12 or NQF 6 qualification

**_Experience_**
- Four or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Intermediate proficiency with at least one statistical software package (e.g. Stata, R, SPSS, SAS)
- Experience working with data visualisation software like Power BI
- Basic knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks

**_Requirements_**
- Experience in Electronic Systems used in DoH Facilities
- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, and routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package as an End User
- Understanding of XML and SQL
- Overnight travel may be required
- Own car for business travel
- Valid driver’s license
- SA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
- Willing to work overtime
