**Sales Consultant/ Sales Agent**

**Contract based Job**

**Hours**:Full time 40 hours

**Location**: Rivonia, Johannesburg

**Salary**: R5 000 - R8 000 p/m (dependent on experience)

**About AltWork**

**Job purpose**:
As a Sales Consultant you will be expected to sell high-value items to individual consumers. You are the primary connection between the customer and the company until the customer makes a purchase. You maybe required from time to time to perform duties like creating presentations, answering client questions and managing transactions. You will become an expert in the product or service offerings and serve as a go-to source for clients who want more information regarding the product or service being offered.

**Requirements**:
**Main duties and responsibilities**:
Includes but not limited to:

- Cold calling and lead generation
- Conduct presentations to demonstrate to potential clients the benefits of the products or service you are providing.
- Establish and maintain healthy, long-term relationship with clients to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Discover customers’ needs and offer solutions to them through the company’s services or products.
- Research sales statistics and establish sales potential with new businesses in the target area.
- Determine new ways to make products appealing by observing the environment and current trends.

**Education required**:

- Matric
- Sales or customer relations qualification - Advantageous

**Skills and experience required**
- 1 - 2 years relevant experience in sales role
- Above average communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for the purposes of closing deals
- Good networking skills and the ability to handle numerous client companies and customers
- Ability to work under pressure and devise sales strategies
- Ability to explain product features and benefits in a way that stands out over competing brands
- Passionate about selling and finding ways to satisfy customers’ needs
- Resilience and a willingness to deal with rejection
- Excellent organization and management capabilities, including being a team player
