An opportunity is available for a Digital Marketing Specialist to be based in the Cape Town area.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, English or relevant field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role and environment
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google etc.
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and web traffic metrics
- Skilled in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Proficiency with Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects - Figma and Webflow experience will be beneficial
- Strong writing skills required (Blogging)
- Ability to write clearly and support word processing when necessary
- Thorough understanding and the ability to navigate social media platform
- Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
- Familiarity with web design and publishing
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Great leadership skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Ability to multitask and work well under limited supervision
- Good time-management skills
- Experience using web analytics and optimization tools
- Analytical skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Compare the Company’s advertising techniques and digital footprint with local and international competitor markets
- Maintain a positive message-to-market for all brands
- Use research techniques and resources to investigate, strategize and implement the Cluster value-add in comparison to the existing market
- Manage and report back on data regarding industry trends in campaigning and advertising consumption and ensure that digital initiatives are aligned to increase brand awareness
- Research advertising trends, competitors’ market and services
- Strategize appropriate advertising and digital campaigning
- Determine effective marketing content and platforms
- Develop projects to create content
- Publish digital marketing content online
- Develop, implement and manage social media strategy
- Define most important social media KPIs
- Manage and oversee social media content
- Measure the success of social media campaigns
- Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
- Use social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite
- Ensure content is informative and appealing and aligned with relevant brand CI
- Collaborate with multiple teams within the company
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
- Working with and reporting to Senior Stakeholders
- Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
- Update, improve and maintain websites
- Create print media, digital and traditional marketing material with relevant tools
