**Job Purpose**
- The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably and competent individual to coordinate, review and undertake the implementation of the Accounting Officer System and all other related legislation. Rendering a cost effective, efficient and effective service on the procurement of goods and services.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification); A valid Code B (or higher) driving license. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.

**Recommendation**
- Relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, Public Procurement or related fields; Computer Based Procurement System.

- To administer requisitions for Procurement, Ledger Management, Perform order administration and document distribution, Perform office administration and end-user service delivery, Asset Management and control accountability,

**Competencies**
- Knowledge and understanding of general administration and office administration. Skills in the following: Proven computer literacy in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook); Written and verbal communication skills; Planning and organising skills; Interpersonal relations; Basic analytical skills; Numeric skills; Critical thinking.

**Remuneration**
- R 216 417 - R 254 928 per annum (Salary level 5)
