**AVI Field Marketing** is a shared services business unit within AVI. Field Marketing focuses on sales and merchandising for the beverages, snacking, and cosmetic business units to provide greater focus and to achieve an improved execution at the store level.

An exciting opportunity for a **Junior** **Sales Representative** for the **Kwa-Zulu Natal (KZN)** region servicing the retail and wholesale customer channels for the **North Coast **area. The areas include Empangeni, Richards Bay and Matuba. The successful applicant will be required to perform a sales function whilst ensuring the business units' targets and service levels are achieved.

**Job Specification**:
**Key Performance Areas**:

- Achieve sales targets and negotiate orders with buyers
- Manage stock levels, expiry dates, and store returns
- Implement promotional activities and monitor pricing
- Build strong relationships with store management and staff
- Ensure shelf health and stock displays follow company standards
- Oversee Merchandisers and provide on-the-job coaching

**Experience**:

- 2-3 years sales experience in an FMCG environment within the sales and merchandising function

**Qualifications**:

- Completed Grade 12 / Matric is essential
- Completed course or tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management and or Retail Management is an added advantage

**Additional Requirements**:

- Supervisory skills will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of the FMCG is essential
- Driver’s license essential
