Overview:
NSC Global is currently looking for a
**Senior HR Business Partner** to join our growing company.
Contributing to the development of the business agenda and strategy the Senior HR Business Partner
- Productivity covers organisation design, change and development and its impact on people, with a strong focus to drive good behaviour and productivity from employees and managers. You will be part of a project team that focuses on productivity optimisation, benchmarks and targets, sales productivity, performance development, people capability building and employee relations. The incumbent must have a strong background in EU Labour Law & Industrial Relations and be comfortable assisting in restructuring processes related to operational requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
**Essential Function**
o Work with Director/Global Head of Payroll on the development and maintenance of appropriate HR strategies in line with Corporate and business requirements.
- Main focus will be to participate in projects to improve processes/practices e.g. Productivity optimisation
- Support transition & integration projects to ensure success of commercial projects
- Facilitating tough conversations to support resolution in conflict situations
- To be an active and influential player enabling the effective diagnosis of business issues/ strategy and goals, thus turning these into People Plans
- Take a proactive role in the development of the HR priorities and lead the implementation of this and other major change as required within business areas.
- Ensure that key HR operational processes are delivered successfully to the business (Transactional HR processes/ leading performance development processes/leading annual remuneration exercises).
- Review and maintenance of policies and procedures ensuring that employment law requirements are complied with and to communicate these effectively to employees and managers.
- Working with Recruitment on Intra-Company transfers and associated documentation
- Working with Compensation specialists and line managers on the annual compensation process (reviewing market survey data with managers)
- Working with other HR colleagues and Specialists whose services have an impact on the employment relationship e.g. Benefits, International Mobility, liaising with International colleagues
- Manage local unions, workers councils and similar
**Key Competencies**
- Technical_:
- PC literate, working knowledge of MS Office and an understanding of IT architecture;
- HANDS ON Experience of managing projects within budget and delivering on time.
- Strong understanding of employment law & Employee Relations.
- Sound knowledge of a broad range of HR areas.
- Mergers and acquisitions experience.
- Experience of employee transfer & integration processes.
- Non-Technical:_
- Experience of working within a Global environment.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong leadership/team management skills.
- Excellent communicator at all levels.
- Ability to build strong relationships and networks across the organisation.
- Capable of challenging in a constructive and positive manner.
- Strong delivery skills.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Financial: _
- Work with Global Head of Payroll/Global HR Director to ensure HR Budget is managed effectively and no overspend.
- Ensure all benefit programmes are managed in most cost-efficient way
- Provide effective HR support/leadership for transition projects to ensure risk minimized and commercial models are accurate for employment costs
Non-Financial:
- Ensure all operations are 100% Compliant at all times with relevant Employment laws
- Strategic_
- Support Global HR Director in driving annual HR plan which supports the overall business strategy
- Partner with key business stakeholde
Qualifications:
**Required Education and Experience**
- At least 5 years’ HR experience working in Global environment as a HR Business Partner/Consultant
- A relevant HR or Industrial Relations degree
- Understanding of Global HR contracts and labour processes
