**Call Centre Service Representative - Debt Rehabilitation**

**Roodepoort, Johannesburg | Fixed Term Contract| Call Centre Environment**

**About the Role**:
We are looking for a passionate, empathetic, and service-oriented Call Centre Service Representative to join our Debt Rehabilitation team. If you are someone who takes pride in helping others restore financial stability and dignity, this opportunity is for you. In this role, you’ll play a key part in providing ethical and solution-driven support to clients facing financial difficulties—ensuring every engagement is handled with care, professionalism, and respect.

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will engage with potential clients via inbound and outbound calls, assess their financial circumstances, and recommend appropriate debt counselling solutions. Your role involves follow-up on leads, building trusted relationships, and helping individuals navigate their debt journey with confidence and clarity.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric / National Senior Certificate (essential)
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry
- Registered Debt Counsellor (advantageous)
- RE5 Certification (advantageous)
- Clear criminal and ITC record

**Skills, Competencies & Attributes**:

- Proven experience in sales, preferably within debt counselling, financial services, or a call centre environment.
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Confident in handling objections and negotiating outcomes.
- Working knowledge of credit reports, debt rehabilitation, and financial hardship strategies.
- High standards of integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making abilities.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain a respectful, professional atmosphere with clients and colleagues.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
- A self-starter who thrives both independently and in a team setting.
