- We're looking for an Operations Analyst to:
- Process Securities Lending and Borrowing
- Cover collateral management tasks
- Cover Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) process including booking, settlement and reconciliation
- Settle corporate actions and dividends
- Determine financing requirements and optimize where possible
- Act as relationship manager working with business, other internal depts., external clients, securities lenders and the JSE
- Identify and recommend ways to improve processes, reduce risks, strengthen controls
- Commit to a culture of continuous improvement centered on client service

**Your team**
- You will be working in the Operations team in Rosebank, South Africa. We work closely with all colleagues and key stakeholders to manage the effective booking, settlement and reconciliation of multiple products. The Team plays a vital role in the front to back trade lifecycle.

- Bachelors degree
- 3-5 years experience within the Banking sector, preferably multi-national
- Robust understanding of ETD, Securities lending and borrowing, collateral management and corporate actions
- SLAM’s and BDA experience essential
- Settlement officers exam
- Experience in Vendor management within the financial services industry
- Passion for dealing with clients, strong numerical skills and a strong understanding of risk frameworks
- Great communicator, able to build, maintain and enhance relationships at all levels
- Comfortable working with internal and external clients
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility, being able to deliver to tight deadlines and manage several priorities at once
- Project management skills
