Junior HR Assistant

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Matric (Grade 12), HR related qualification plus 2 years proven experience as an HR Assistant or equivalent
- Computer skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Stable employment history and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, manage sensitive and confidential situations
- Work with initiative, adaptable with strong admin skills
- English Business Professional
**DUTIES**
- Perform general related HR administrative duties assisting with queries & requests
- Assisting advertising of vacancies, ensuring requests are signed off
- Assist with new employees/ interviewees reference checks
- Taking minutes accurately for all HR meetings
- Transcribing of Disciplinary Hearings/ Meetings and Employee counselling recordings
- Assist with preparation Attendance registers, Ad-Hoc Contract extension letters etc.
- Onboarding and orientation of new employees
- Maintain and update the on-the-job training registers
- Assist with annual update of employee information
- Assisting HR Administrator with CCMA case preparation
- Issuing company uniform, maintaining database (PPE and Corporate clothing), ensuring staff deduction forms (where applicable) and issue forms are signed and filed
- Monitor and report on time and attendance of our Nationwide staff compliment
- Updating attendance registers & HR systems
- Reporting of Biometric System and staff movement within the Johannesburg Branch
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality of the Human Resources files and records
- Assist with quarterly stock takes, investigations if and when required
- Assisting in reception if and when required
