To manage complex deals from end-to-end through and assist with oversight of Africa and Corporate portfolio through efficient and effective execution of deals in accordance with relevant approvals, transaction documents and related regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Action and monitor complex deal activities in line with legal agreements and applicable regulatory requirements by utilising available systems (e.g., Loan IQ, SAP) and adhering to internal processes and controls to ensure accurate implementation of transaction requirements.
- Assist team manager with oversight of portfolio of deals ensuring accuracy and completeness of deal activities.
- Provide expertise and advice to key stakeholders on legal agreements, deal management related regulatory requirements, policies, and processes in order to appropriately manage risk and further entrench Nedbank’s reputation.
- Suggest practical solutions for the implementation and on-going management of deal structures to mitigate risk for the bank and improve the overall client experience.
- Build effective relationships with relevant stakeholders by maintaining open channels of communication and by providing high quality input and service delivery and pro-active issue resolution to deliver on business needs.
- Adhere to accounting and other reporting requirements to ensure that information is accurate and complete and relevant matters are escalated to stakeholders within agreed time frames to ensure compliance with requirements of deal structures and stakeholders.

**Job Responsibilities Continue**
- Maintain and provide accurate and reliable data on all transactions to enable timeous and accurate management information.
- Remain up to date with regulatory process and system changes to support best practice and industry standards.
- Coach, up-skill and train relevant stakeholders on deals, products, systems, and processes to achieve alignment on and adherence to processes as well as the consistent treatment of products on systems.
- Design, implement, evaluate, and enhance systems and processes to improve process efficiency and effectiveness for clients/stakeholders.
- Proactively mitigate risk through ensuring an acceptable level of operational loss events is achieved, communicated, and resolved whilst providing guidance on the solution of risk events.
- Undertake certain oversight and workflow approval responsibilities to ensure quality of deal management service and control environment.
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Preferred Qualification- Bachelor of Commerce: Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce: Accounting, Bachelor of Commerce: Financial Management, Bachelor of Commerce: Taxation, Bachelor of Commerce: Law- Minimum Experience Level- Minimum 5 years deal management experience and or 3 years relevant product exposure and foreign currency deals.**Technical / Professional Knowledge**
