Job Summary:
The General Manager of Aquasplash Waterpark & Resort will oversee all operational aspects of the waterpark and resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and financial performance. This role requires strategic leadership, operational excellence, and bilingual proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:

- Manage daily operations of the waterpark and resort, including guest services, maintenance, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment.
- Ensure all departments function efficiently and effectively.

2. Guest Experience:

- Enhance guest satisfaction by addressing concerns and continually improving services.
- Develop and implement guest service strategies to exceed expectations.

3. Financial Management:

- Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring revenue targets and cost control measures are met.
- Analyze financial reports and adjust operations to achieve financial goals.

4. Staff Management:

- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and employee development.

5. Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure all safety regulations and health standards are met and exceeded.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain safety and compliance.

6. Marketing and Public Relations:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies.
- Act as the face of the resort, engaging with the community and promoting the brand.

7. Strategic Planning:

- Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance the waterpark and resort’s competitiveness.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in a senior management role within the hospitality industry, with specific experience in managing waterparks or resorts.
- Languages: Fluency in English and French is required.
- Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Outstanding customer service orientation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technolog

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From R100 000,00 per month
