New Business Sales Executive

The incumbent of this role is responsible for sourcing and securing new business for Tourvest Travel Services (TTS). The individual is responsible for demonstrating the products and services offered by the business to new clients and driving sales accordingly. To uphold TTS a number one ranked Travel Management Company in all duties and dealings. The role has a main focus on all TTS products within the business and online technology is key in the sales position.

Obtaining New Business:

- Obtain new businesses through cold calling, tenders, proposals and presentations
- Strategic account planning, opportunity creation and qualification
- Adhere to the company product strategy when acquiring new business
- Executive and stakeholder communication, with value proposition design.

Marketing Data:

- Use marketing data to maximize sales effectively and efficiently by using relevant management tools.
- Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Targets.
- Ensure all operational requirements are sold to the new business clients in line with the operations (SOP).
- Annual sales targets to be met.

Financials:

- Ensure all financial models sold to new business clients are at the required business level
- Present Return on Investment feedback to potential new business clients.
- Work closely with the Operations team on RFP budgets

Customer Services:

- Provide high service levels to all new business clients
- Identify and manage new business client’s expectations
- Manage new business clients to gain the business
- Liaise with both internal and external clients

Team Work and Ad-Hoc:

- Assist team members in level of expertise
- Assist senior manager when required
- Assist in the implementations of strategies and projects

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Matric Certificate/Grade 12.
- Have Evidence of Good Sales Record
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing or Sales Related Courses

EXPERIENCE IN YEARS:

- 5 or more years in a similar role.

KNOWLEDGE:

- Sales experience.
- Online and Offline Travel Management Solutions.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point Presentations.
