A reputable organization within the Film and Production sector is currently seeking a vibrant Electronics Technician to join their team.

description

**_Electronic repairs, service & maintenance of:_**
- Light ballasts, dimmers, control desks and cabling
- Light power supply systems, battery, battery chargers and converters
- Small conventional and fluorescent light heads including ignites
- Generator governor and generator control systems including power generation electronics

**_Maintain:_**
- Small electronics parts store, control stock levels, acquiring quotes and maintaining good business partnerships with electronic parts suppliers
- An intellectual property library consisting of circuit diagrams, user manuals, BOM’s, repair and test instructions on all equipment being repaired and worked on in the workshop
- Laptop with control software to connect and adjust generator governor and control systems
- Assist the other electrical and mechanical workshops with advice and physical help when needed
- Be available to work overtime and assist after hours with electronic related problems

experience, qualifications and skills
- Minimum Electronics N3
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electronic circuit fault finding and repairing
- A team player (work well with others and be able to follow instruction)
- Able to cope under pressure
- Hard worker
- Punctual and able to work after hours if required
- Able to read and understand circuit diagrams
- Work unsupervised
- Computer literate
- Driver’s licence a must
- No criminal record
- Willing to travel if required
