A vacancy has arisen in Pietermaritzburg for a company in the Shipping and Logistics department for an experienced Export Controller.

Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the incumbent will perform the following:

- Handling of proper documentation, including transit documents and customer clearances.
- Ensure that all documentation is accurately processed and released to customers and agents timeously.
- Prepare SARS Bill of Entries and Transnet Port Terminal container releases.
- Maintain courteous, prompt, and efficient customer relations.
- Plan and schedule appropriate modes of transportation based on daily needs.
- Monitor and track global movement of goods to verify order fulfilment.
- Ensure correct dispatch information is passed to respective warehouses.

Minimum Essential Requirements:

- Minimum Grade 12 Pass
- Shipping& Logistics/Export experience would be an advantage
- 2 years’ General Administration Experience
- Good Oral & Written Communication Skills
- Problem solving abilities, with an aptitude for attention to details
- Computer literacy in MS Office suite
- Syspro ERP experience would be an advantage
