**SALES PERSON - HVAC**
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Customer Engagement**: Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients through regular follow-ups, presentations, and meetings.
- **Sales Development**: Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and close sales for HVAC systems and services.
- **Needs Assessment**: Conduct site visits to assess customer needs, perform system evaluations, and provide accurate and detailed proposals.
- **Product Knowledge**: Stay informed about the latest HVAC technologies, products, and industry trends to offer knowledgeable recommendations.
- **Proposal Preparation**: Create and present detailed proposals, including cost estimates, system specifications, and project timelines.
- **Negotiation**: Negotiate terms of sales agreements, including pricing and delivery schedules, to secure contracts.
- **Customer Support**: Provide exceptional customer service, address any post-sale issues, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely with the installation and service teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
- **Reporting**:Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
- **Training and Development**:Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Grade 12 (Matric) required; Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
**Experience**: Proven experience in HVAC sales or a related field, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
**Knowledge**: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, products, and industry standards.
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide effective solutions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Must be able to perform site assessments, which may include lifting and carrying equipment.
