As we strive to be the best in civil engineering, RC Man Group is currently seeking for a highly organised and experienced professional to join our construction team as an Office and Projects Coordinator.
**POSITION BACKGROUND**:
The Office and Projects Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of construction and plant hire operations. This multifaceted role encompasses human resources, office administration, regulatory compliance, procurement, financial management, IT, communications, payroll, projects management, tendering, recordkeeping, reporting, and overall administration. The Office and Projects Coordinator serves as a crucial link between the Head Office, Plant (trucks and machinery) and Construction sites, supporting various departments and ensuring efficient office and projects operations. The incumbent reports to the Company’s Executive Director and must meet the requirements, competencies and be responsible for the following key performance areas below:
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIES**:
Manage and supervise day-to-day office operations and ensure a conducive working environment. Coordinate meetings. Ensure timely provision and management of resources (financial, human resources, material and equipment etc.) to all sites. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Timeously handle disciplinary activities and lodged grievances. Ensure the implementation of an effective performance management system. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws as amended from time to time. Ensure that each employee has signed employment contract. Ensure effective management and reconciliation of petty cash transactions for both the Head Office and construction sites. Make follow-ups on payments (debts collection). Prepare tax invoices and quotations for our clients upon request. Ensure that the operators and drivers send the weekly timesheets for the plant to the Head Office. Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective contracts. Monitor, manage and optimize procurement costs. Prepare and manage the tendering process. Coordinate/Facilitate for driver to attend site inspections/briefing. Fill in the tender document and prepare/compile the returnable. Process and manage payroll accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and processing of statutory deductions including Tax, UIF, SDL etc. Address payroll-related queries from employees. Maintain an inventory of Company assets. Maintain vehicles/fleet checklist for the company. Develop and maintain an efficient filing system both electronic and manually. Coordinate allocation of trucks and plant. Prepare the breakdown report with cost. Coordinating the insurance claims.

**Salary**: R12,000.00 - R20,000.00 per month
