**Business Need/Purpose of Role**:
The requirement is for a Project Controller (PCO). This PCO is a non-management position, responsible for keeping the project running in the absence of the Project Manager(s) and controlling project information within the Projects Office with respect to:
Project administration

Project accounting

Project planning.

**Job Requirements**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
Certified Project Management Associate

**Minimum Experience**:
5 experience in a Project Controller position in a Project office

Excellent in administration, accounting and planning in a Project Office environment

Advance experience in Microsoft Office

**Key Tasks**:

- Project Administration
- Understand the role of the PMO WEIR Minerals Projects Office.
- Set up a project office environment for the relevant project/projects.
- Implement change and version control within the project office environment.
- Co-ordinate all project-related events.
- Manage data and backup procedures effectively.
- Schedule appropriate meetings.
- Compile and distribute minutes of meetings.
- Scribe at workshops.
- Compile and distribute appropriate project reports.
- Co-ordinate and administer all project procurement requirements on the Cost report.
- Maintain the Project Control Book and soft copy.
- Manage access to the Project Control Book, including assignment of the physical Project Control Books and access to the PM Methodology system.
- Administer contract files and the commercial process.
- Ensure adherence to project administration guidelines.
- Consolidate project administrative deliverables from individual Project Offices.
- Maintain repository of project administrative deliverables.
- Maintain the overall Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM) for the Projects Office.
- Formally Register the project on LN system and communicate the new project to all stakeholders.
- Maintain the Projects Register.
- Scribe at the Project Review as well as the Steerco meetings.
- Distribute the Project Handover Data Packs / Project Control Books to the Technical Controller once projects have been completed.
- Maintain the project archives.
- Process invoices.
- Set up a project accounting system for the relevant project/projects.
- Track project budget from a Capex viewpoint.
- Assist the Project Manager to forecast the financial position (predictors) of the project on a monthly basis including accruals.
- Record project resource utilisation.
- Adherence of all HSE and housekeeping requirements
- Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times
