Senior Sales Manager

**Key Responsibilities**
Sales and Business Development:
- Execute a direct enterprise strategy in the local market, driving sales and business development activities for dark fibre, and consumer & SME fibre offerings.- Segment and prioritize local prospective clients in collaboration with the Area Managers and Retentions Manager, focusing uptake campaigns.- Deliver quarterly and annual revenue objectives through personal efforts and team leadership.
Client and Market Engagement:
- Proactively engage prospective clients to establish relationships, understand their needs, and develop tailored solutions.- Work with property developers, enterprise clients, and industry stakeholders to drive adoption of Octotel’s services.- Educate clients on sales processes with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and manage client expectations.
Strategic Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with property managers, developers, and enterprise clients.- Negotiate and secure contracts with developers, municipalities, and key enterprise stakeholders.
Market Expansion and Networking:
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand Octotel’s footprint in residential and commercial developments.- Represent Octotel at industry events, client meetings, and PR activities to strengthen brand presence.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear targets and ensuring accountability.- Share knowledge and collaborate effectively with local and virtual teams to achieve business goals.
Operational Excellence:
- Manage and maintain the sales opportunity pipeline using internal systems like Pipedrive.- Collaborate with business analysts and marketing teams to drive market development and client engagement strategies.- Setting clear organizational plans and reporting sales operational activities to the business analysts for business performance management.

Experience: Minimum 10 years in a sales or business development role within the FNO, telecom, or fibre industry. Proven experience working with property developers and negotiating large-scale agreements. Demonstrated success in dark fibre and enterprise sales, including securing contracts with corporate clients and businesses. Solid business development and client acquisition experience.
