Job Position: Learnership Specialist
Ref: 4514
Location: Johannesburg
**Salary**: Commensurate with qualification and experience + benefits such as pension fund, 50 % medical aid and 13th cheque
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role (dealing with Learnerships)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma / Degree) in Human Resource Management or National Diploma in Occupational Directed - Education Training and Development
- Experience in Learnership monitoring and tracking
- Expert understanding of Assessor / Moderation concepts and procedures
- Strong financial acumen
- Good project management skills
- Skills Development legislation, inclusive of SETA legislative requirements on Learnership / discretionary funding
- Assessor / Moderator concepts and procedures
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills
- Computer literate in MS Office at an expert level
- Experience with e-learning platforms and digital learning
Key Performance Areas:
- Will be required to effectively run and manage all Learnerships (internal and external), bursaries and other training related regulatory requirements for the organisation
- Administration, coordination and project management of all Learnership Programmes
- Participate in Learner selection and recruitment for the Learnership Programmes
- Ensure Learnership and bursary information is accurately captured and readily available for compilation of monthly reporting, skills development, employment equity and BBB-EE reporting
- Reconciliation of bursaries and employee AOD’s
- Administration of all TETA related activities
- Ensure payment of invoices are in line with the organisational financial policies and procedures
- Recommendation of training providers in line with compliance requirements
- Obtain and maintain accurate records relating to service providers
- Assist and support the Learning and Development Manager with general training queries and requests
- Co-develop WSP/ATR submission to TETA
- Orientation and onboarding of Learners, Assessors and Moderators onto the E-learning platform
- Track the monthly submission of Learner logbooks, attendance registers, assessments and progress reports
- Monitor the Learners progress and take remedial action when required
- Ensure that external Assessors and Moderators have the required Learner and programme information timeously
- Timeous and accurate submission of monthly Learnership and bursary reports
- Maintain filing of all documentation manually and electronically
- Successful recruitment, management and closeout of Learnership Programme
- Ensure Learnership and bursary information is accurately captured and readily available for compilation of skills development employment equity and BBBEE reporting
