Our client has an exciting opportunity available within their Corporate Actuarial Team. They are currently in search of a dynamic individual to support the Short-Term Reserving function. This position needs to be assumed by an individual who is excited by the prospect of tackling something technical, ever-evolving and challenging.

Duties and responsibilities:

- Monthly/Annual financial & regulatory reporting including calculating the IFRS & SAM technical provisions as well as the SCR
- Maintaining and calibrating the development factors used for reserving purposes
- Adapting and maintaining the existing reserving and capital SQL processes

Qualifications and experience:
We are looking for someone who:

- Has passed all actuarial exams, or is very close to completion
- Has 4 to 6 years work experience (Reserving/Capital)
- Has had substantial exposure to financial and regulatory reporting
- Is proficient in ResQ with 1 to 2 years modelling experience
- Has strong analytical skills with good attention to detail
- Is output driven and willing to get their hands dirty
