**Introduction**

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Matric and Draughting certificate. Higher qualification would be ideal.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant (Civil Engineering infrastructure) draughting field.
- Experience should include working on commercial, residential or infrastructure projects and Telecommunication infrastructure is advantageous.

**Purpose of the Job**

The applicant must be able to conduct engineering draughting under the supervision of a Project engineer or designer. Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering projects. Interpret and review rough sketches, drawings, specifications and other data to prepare accurate drawings. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards in all drawings. Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.

**Draughting Duties**
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans using AUTOCAD, Revit, or other CAD software.
- Interpret architectural and engineering designs and convert them into precise drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards, codes and regulations.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and clients.
- Maintain organized drawings records and version control.

**Skills and Knowledge**

The Draughtsperson must have skills and knowledge on the following:

- Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related filed.
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- AutoCAD Map 3D and Civil 3D would be advantageous.
- Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software.
- Excellent listening skills and intuitive.
- Strong and clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-starter who takes initiative.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team through collaborative techniques that demonstrate the Ceenex values: Growth, Shared Value, Empathy, Integrity, Fair Dealings and Pride.
