Accountable and responsible for the effective management and control of all inventory on site through alignment and communication between planning, production, warehouse and QC departments.
- Oversee and manage every stage of production manufacturing, from purchasing of raw materials to the delivery of final product, through Integration of all key personnel in the Supply Chain to work together to provide an effective customer service.
- To manage the Warehouse and Planning departments, ensuring that all staff duties are executed efficiently and are focus driven to ensuring physical movements of stock is matched to system movements timeously.
- Oversee and taking the lead role in stock counts focusing on the review of cycle count variances and generating detailed reports for approval by the Operations Manager.
- Manage long term and medium term production plan on SAP.
- Planning and procurement management with effective interaction with suppliers and service providers to ensure on time delivery of critical raw materials hereby ensuring that finished goods are made on time and in full.
- Ensure all departmental procedures are reviewed, updated and are properly implemented and adhered to at all time.
- To ensure all import stock orders are costed correctly with the addition of all added costs(clearing invoices, transport and customs duty)
- Liaise with Business Managers on forecasting issues, raw material requirements and other needs as requested.
- Responsible for inventory management, resource management and cost controls.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Cost and Management Accounting
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate
- Supply Chain Management/Planning experience of 8 - 10 years in a chemical plant environment
- Purchasing Experience
- SAP MRP
- SAP/ Sap Inventory Management
- Microsoft Excel
