RESPONSIBILITIES- Act in absence of Packing Shed Supervisor- Daily check of scale at filling point according to the work instruction- Inspect and accept/reject returned drums and pallets according to the work instruction- Print batch labels- Inspect and accept deliveries of new drums as per the work instruction. Report number of reject drums to the Packing Shed Supervisor- Prepare returned drums for filling according to the work instruction- Fill drums according to the drum filling work instruction- Fill IBC’s according to the IBC filling work instruction- Load trucks according to the loading procedure- Clean and wash box container prior to loading, if deemed necessary.- Load box containers with drums and IBC’s according to procedure- Assist process personnel with moving of raw materials, as required.- Forklift driver- Inspect daily the forklifts- Stock take of packaging material- Maintain the housekeeping of the drum/IBC’s filling and storage area.- Compliance with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Responsible Care Standards and Procedures- Compliance with Evonik Safety requirements

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Matric essential, including mathematics, and minimum 5 years working experience in the Chemicals Warehouse operation. Preferred Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations- Valid Forklift driver license- Valid driving’s license, own transport- Technical and professional expertise (knowledge of warehouse operations, and Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations)- Very good English communication skills (verbal communication, listening and written communication)- Positive and proactive team player attitude (motivation, confidence and development orientation) with excellent interpersonal skills- Computer skills (MS Office)- Ability to participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures- Must be reliable and accountable with the planning and execution of tasks.
