Accountable for providing leadership to the Private Wealth business at a regional level. Responsible for client acquisition, retention, share of wallet optimisation, driving growth in market share, enterprise development and transformation. Accountable for facilitating tradeoffs between segment, sectors and product to achieve the desired commercial shape in the region. The incumbent will be accountable for the sales and service performance of the Wealth segment in the region. Acts as the most senior face of Wealth Banking and Investment Management in the Region
**Job Description**:
Accountability: Drive Business Performance
- Drive new business growth in Private Wealth Segment in line with the Bank’s growth aspirations;
- Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key Wealth clients;
- Drive sales performance at a regional level to enable realization of the desired revenue targets and balance sheet growth.
- Actively monitor regional performance against the scorecard, identify root causes of non-performance and develop and implement remediation plans with relevant stakeholders across the value chain.
Accountability: Strategy Development and Execution
- Use the overall Private Wealth strategy as a base to develop a Regional Wealth Management strategy.
- Accountable for the execution of the bank’s Private Wealth strategy in the Region;
- Collaborate with Segment, Sector and Product Heads to ensure sector and product strategies are aligned to and meet local market needs.
Accountability: Customer Experience
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance and broaden the Wealth customer value proposition, service, delivery and client engagement in line with the overall strategy;
- Accountable for driving and monitoring Regional Private Wealth customer experience standards, remediating service failures and identifying lead indicators of service issues.
- Collaborate with Segment, Sector and Product Heads to develop corrective actions to proactively remediate issues to uphold a high level of customer experience.
Accountability: People and Culture
- Lead and embed the colleague agenda for the Private Wealth business in the Regions;
- Build and sustain a culture that aligns to RB’s aspirational colleague experience to deliver the target customer experience and financial performance;
- Accountable for cascading the RB strategy to Private Wealth colleagues in the Region and providing line of sight to tactical initiatives;
- Accountable for strategic workforce planning, balancing short and long-terms strategic sourcing requirements to ensure that Private Wealth is appropriately resourced to meet demand, compliance and customer experience requirements.
Accountability: Control
- Accountable for ensuring an optimal and compliant control environment within Private Wealth in the Region that appropriately balances risk appetites and customer demand with the need to grow to achieve the financial ambitions and balance sheet aspirations;
- Ensure that Wealth Banking and Investment Management in the Region possess the required capabilities (infrastructure, people, process and culture) to comply with relevant regulations governing selling and to enable the delivery of Private Wealth’s aspirational customer experience.
