Management of the Quality Management System.
- Management of the NCR System.
- Ensuring Compliance of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Compliance and Management of the OHS System.
- Implementing and management of ISO procedures and processes.
- Maintaining & Improving the QMS.

- Assist department managers with the development & maintenance of the departmental Procedures & Work Instructions.
- QMS Document control.
- Facilitate & co-ordinate external customer audits.
- Control internal audits & audit schedules.
- Monitor & maintain QMS effectiveness & performance.
- Organize & facilitate QMS Management review meetings.
- Develop & maintain QMS Skill Matrix & Training plans.
- Maintain & improve the NCR system.
- Assist with NCR corrective & preventative actions.
- Auditing of completed NCR’s and implemented actions.
- Monitor & maintain NCR system effectiveness.
- Responsible for all Safety related initiatives and matters i.e., Gap audits, monthly safety meetings, monthly safety reports.
- Safety administration and accurate feedback to Management within set timeframes.
- Administer and ensure all supplier and visitor inductions are conducted and signed in accordance with company procedures.
- Review and monitor all corrective actions that are recorded and ensure they are audited and closed off.
- Lead and facilitate all incident investigations and risk analyses with the respective HOD’s.
- Lead and drive all medical testing, surveys, and simulations.
- Maintain health assessments and records.
- Issuing and control of all PPE.
- Communicate and document changes to procedures relating to OHSE and system changes.

DESIRED QUAIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Detailed knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Practices.
- Proven work experience working in a target driven Manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of submersible pumps or similar products will be advantageous.
- Sound working knowledge of legislation impacting on mining industry.
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate.
- Safety Management Degree
- Quality Management Qualification.
- SAMTRAC Certificate.
- Minimum of 5 years within a SHEQ Management role (preferably in the Mining and Quarrying Sector).
- Proven work experience working in a target driven Manufacturing environment.
- Proven Experience in Implementing a QMS
- Advanced Microsoft skil
