Key functions, responsibilities, and duties
- Management of safety related the NCR System.
- Ensuring Compliance of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Compliance and Management of the OHS System.
- QMS Management Representative.
- Facilitate & co-ordinate external customer audits.
- Control internal audits & audit schedules.
- Develop & maintain QMS Skill Matrix & Training plans.
- Responsible for all Safety related initiatives and matters i.e. Gap audits, monthly safety meetings, monthly safety reports.
- Safety administration and accurate feedback to Manager within set timeframes.
- Administer and ensure all supplier and visitor inductions are conducted and signed in accordance with company procedures
- Review and monitor all corrective actions that are recorded and ensure they are audited and closed off.
- Lead and facilitate all incident investigations and risk analyses with the respective HOD’s.
- Lead and drive all medical testing, surveys, and simulations.
- Maintain health assessments and records.
- Issuing and control of all PPE.
- Hazard identification and risk assessment. (HIRA)
