Opportunity in a premier commercial risk insurance company awaits you, to handle complex claims with expertise.

You will be responsible for promptly handling marine claims, resolving all related enquiries, and developing a claims case strategy to ensure that appropriate reserves are assigned, investigations conducted, and appropriate suppliers engaged.

You will also be expected to acquire and efficiently organise the relevant evidence and information to accurately assess the claim's value and recognise potential fraud and recovery indicators. Review, resolve and proactively finalise claims within authority limits ensuring settlement at an optimum level.

**Qualification and Experience**

A Degree, 5 years + specific claims experience, technical knowledge of products and services, expert technical claims handling knowledge across a broad range of lines of business/claim types, knowledge of legal systems and interpretation of legal liability,

You should also understand the claims market agreements that exist within the various territories and how to access specific knowledge with previous experience in managing and handling difficult coverage issues and be able to give examples. High-level awareness of interdependencies with other functions (Finance, Reinsurance, Marketing, Actuarial, Underwriting and Legal).
