**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
Serves as the guest's liaison for the Conference Centre. Assists the guest
- regardless of whether inquiries concern in-conference or off-premises attractions, facilities, services, or activities. Knows how to provide concise and accurate directions. Arranges for secretarial services. Good knowledge of property management software (PMS) or hotel reservation software.

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**:

- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar position within a Hotel/Conference environment
- Proficient in Microsoft packages and working knowledge of Fidelio Opera

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develops a strong knowledge of the Conference centre’s facilities and services and of the surrounding precinct.
- Provides guests with information about attractions, facilities, services, and activities in or outside the property.
- Makes guest reservations for air or other forms of transportation when requested.
- Organizes special functions as directed by management.
- Arranges secretarial and other office services.
- Coordinates guest requests for special services or equipment with the appropriate department.
- Handles guest complaints and solve problem to the degree possible.
- May be required to manage the Business Lounge when required
