Do you have 5 years Legal experience focusing on Credit and Documentary Risk mitigation? Join our Transaction Administration CIB Team as a Senior Document Specialist and be responsible for Documentation Management and Governance Services to frontline Legal and Business units / Product areas across CIB. Your responsibilities will include:
**Job Description**:

- Act as liaison between business unit / product area and Docman ensuring that all pre-registration & pre-disbursement loan conditions and conditions precedent are fulfilled
- Drafting standard legal agreements and security documentation in accordance with credit approvals and applicable legislative requirements ensuring correctness and alignment to governance, legislative requirements and policy standards
- Ensure appropriate governance and adherence to established Absa risk control policies and procedures
- Liaison with attorneys for receipt of pre-sales schedules and related scheme documentation and undertakings. Validation of all documentation to ensure compliance with loan requirements and appropriate sign-off by mandated officials
- Post implementation review of transactional documentation to mitigate documentary and operational risk
- Issue of property guarantees

- Record, maintain and control documentation on various systems

Education and Experience Required
- NQF Level 6: B Degree or equivalent
- Five years in a legal / credit environment, focusing on credit and documentary risk mitigation
- Legal qualification an advantage

Education

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (required)
