**Purpose of the position**
- To conduct qualitative and quantitative research in support of the development, testing and refinement of new business development initiatives relating to empowering a culture of road safety globally.
- Research will be conducted across product lifecycles, as well as post implementation.
- The role will evolve as the new business development capability develops.

**Areas of Responsibilities**
- Identifying, leading, and managing the scope and design of research projects
- Outlining the objectives of each research project or initiative
- Choosing and implementing the most appropriate methodology for designing and managing the research projects
- Directing and undertaking pilot studies and fieldwork
- Designing and administering surveys and questionnaires
- Collecting, analysing and interpreting qualitative and/or quantitative data.
- Identifying and advising about possible strategies
- Interpreting quantitative and qualitative data
- Developing insights from the research data
- Preparing and disseminating the findings and insights in the form of presentations, reports, briefings, action plans and research papers
- Developing and testing theories
- Prepare proposals for new research projects
- Forming part of a team that advises external bodies and governments about policies
- Project management, to include liaising with clients and attending meeting**Inherent Requirements**

- Post graduate degree Anthropology or Psychology
- Proven track record in qualitative and quantitative research
