**Entity and activity description**
Focus on optimization of the process in order to meet customer requirements regarding quality and reliability of supply, while respecting safety, health, environment issues, for the best economic performance.

The incumbent will be responsible for receiving orders, planning, loading, and delivery of for both Primary and Secondary customers.

He also ensures regulatory compliance in terms of working conditions and process.

**Responsibilities**
- Run and control the administrative, accounting and personnel aspects of the Cylinder Supply Chain.
- Control costs within monthly budgets. Ensure that daily planning is managed in order to optimize product availability and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all customer orders are captured and customers are not consecutively short supplied.
- Manage the Cylinder Handling Crew to ensure efficient movement of cylinders nationally, and efficient dispatching of delivery vehicles.
- Ensure promotion of efficient handling of cylinders and safety. Maintain Cylinder Logistics routing to ensure route optimisation on daily planning.
- Manage the Transport Sub-Contractor daily operations with regards to: Daily trip recons (KM and hours), Non-deliveries, Vehicle maintenance, Cost validation, Spot vehicle hire (ZERO BUDGET)
- Implement necessary changes in order to improve efficiency.
- Maintain and implement AL safety standards and operational procedures and provide training where required.
- Manage IMS requirements applicable to the department.
- Reporting to the Industrial Director on all relevant matters.
- Ensure the qualification of operators

**Requirements** Education**
- Education: BSc Degree/ Logistics qualifications or relevant qualification

**Experience**
- Logistics management background 5 - 8 years experience

**Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job**
- Ability to coordinate many concerns and people (planning & organising)
- Highly motivated by technical and industrial environments
- Open to address multiple concerns in a limited timeframe (organized and effective time management)
- Decision making under pressure
