**Job Description and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the accounting of vehicle and component export cost of production and cost of sales as well as the accounting of foreign currency usage for APDP purposes.
- Costing of Vehicles and Component Exports.
- Analyzing Bill of Materials.
- Preparing C2 (forex declaration) certificates as well as SMD’s (standard material declaration) in accordance with the Automotive Production Development Programme (APDP).
- Calculating and updating Landed Cost Factors.
- Accounting for warranty and maintenance plans in line with IFRS.
- Monitoring stock adjustments and investigating variances.
- Administer and oversee general reconciliations and financial performance reporting.
- Providing timeous, meaningful, high quality financial information.
- Complying with stringent deadlines.
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS and Group Accounting Handbook.
- Closing the General Ledger for Financial Reporting purposes in due time.

**Education and Experience**:

- National Diploma or BCom Degree with Management Accounting 3.
- Have 3-5 years Costing experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Must have strong analytical skills.
- Display excellent attention to detail.
- Must be disciplined and be able to perform under pressure.
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.

- Must have assertiveness, co-ordination and conflict management skills.
- Be a team player.
