**_your purpose_**

The National Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing, leading and developing all mr price money's operational strategy in accordance with the company strategy to ensure the efficient and profitable operations of all cellular & credit stores to deliver company sales and profit targets.

your responsibilities:_**

**Strategy**:

- Formulate, lead and measure the implementation of the Operations strategy for the business.
- Contribute to the development of the Company strategy and ensure communication & a clear understanding thereof throughout the business

**Sales & Operations Performance**
- Monitor sales & performance of key indicators on the Ops dashboard in order to raise any concerns with Ops Management.
- Analyze sales & profitability reports in order to identify risk & opportunities, ensuring the Ops team can implement actions for improved performance.

**Growth**
- Investigate and identify growth opportunities within the operations environment through the execution of new store strategy as well as revamps & relocations in order to achieve sales growth.
- Formulate and execute product strategy to support and increase sales growth.

**People team leadership**
- Leading and inspiring the Ops management teams, across geographical areas, to deliver KPI's & operational strategy through regular store visits, weekly conference calls, one-on-one phone calls etc., consistently ensuring effective communication.
- Identify and drive training needs, coaching and development with a key focus on Talent management and succession planning, including effective performance feedback to achieve high performance teams.

**Operations Profitability**
- Manage and maximise resources available, including expenses, to achieve return on investment.
- Manage stock losses in line with company processes in order to achieve Operations KPI's.
- Identify opportunities to open new stores or store closures in order to maximise profitability.

**_ what are the minimum requirements?_**
- Degree in Retail/Business Management
- 5 years experience in Retail Operations Management
- Legislative knowledge, Forecasting, Budgets, Commercial Acumen, Telecommunications and Retail industry
