Job Purpose: Effectively administering and controlling bookings and ibt through the warehouse

Areas of Responsibility:

- Allocate booking dates upon request from suppliers
- Record booking dates on the system to formulate the booking date: Result report
- Manage daily gate control sheet, ensure sheet issued to Security and receiving staff daily
- Ensure daily gate control sheet is updated daily and forwarded to the planning as well as buying team after ever shift.
- Liaise with team leader, as required on all key issues from suppliers
- Liaise with planners and buyers as well as Team Leader regarding missed booking dates, short and over supplied stock as well as damages and any other issues from suppliers.
- Assist the Receiving team leader in processing of RTV'S including the managing of collections/deliveries to the suppliers along with timely communication to finance and warehouse team regarding any RTV'S.
- Process and record all IBTS coming through the DC ensuring they checked in and out of the DC,
- Strong emphasis ensuring drivers sign for IBTS from stores as well as all IBTS booked in and out of the DC
- Keep record of waste and damages from stores report weekly to Receiving Team leader.
- Any other ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time, including assisting with general stock receiving.

- Working knowledge of receiving, bookings and IBT environment.
- Working knowledge of WMS and process within the Department.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Strong communication skill with suppliers and other departments within the business.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good negotiating skills.
- Strong administrative skills, attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to think outside the box with a go getter attitude.
