**Job Purpose**:
To develop, implement, and oversee operational security strategies, systems, and protocols that protect company assets, personnel, and facilities. The Operations Security Manager ensures that all security operations comply with legal and company standards and responds effectively to security incidents or breaches.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Security Strategy & Planning**:

- Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Conduct threat and risk assessments for sites, operations, and personnel.
- Design security frameworks and operational protocols tailored to company activities.
- **Team Leadership & Supervision**:

- Manage and supervise security teams including CPOs across locations/sites.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance of security personnel.
- Conduct regular briefings and ensure compliance with operational goals.
- **Operational Oversight**:

- Monitor security control rooms, patrols, and response units.
- Coordinate access control, surveillance systems (CCTV), and alarm systems.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions.
- **Compliance & Risk Management**:

- Ensure adherence to regulations (Psira).
- Maintain logs, reports, and audit trails of security activities.
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency response services when required.
- **Asset & Personnel Protection**:

- Develop protocols to safeguard high-value assets and vehicles
- Enforce visitor control policies and secure workplace environments.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Diploma/Degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminology, or related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in security operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- PSIRA Grade A registration, Competency (Handgun, Shotgun and Rifle) with Business Purpose, Regulation 21, First aid/Fire Fighting
- Experience with electronic surveillance and access control systems.
- Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations.

**Working Conditions**:

- Must be willing to work extended hours, weekends, and on-call duty as needed.
- May require travel between company sites.
- Physically fit and capable of responding to on-site incidents.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: R45 000,00 - R50 000,00 per month
