**About The Opportunity**
Our Africa team, based at our Bryanston office in Johannesburg, are currently seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join them. In this role you will provide technical support for Micromine Pitram customers, whilst also securing new business and managing existing accounts.
Micromine Pitram is a scalable fleet management, mine control, and productivity solution for underground and surface mines, and is used to record, manage, and process mine site data in real-time.
Reporting directly to the Regional Manager - Africa, your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing existing accounts and providing frontline technical support.
- Identifying avenues for Micromine Pitram sales growth via new customers and upgrades.
- Conducting feasibility studies on-site and helping assess potential Micromine Pitram projects.
- Delivering Micromine Pitram demonstrations (live and remote), including attending trade shows and conferences.
- Coordinating Micromine Pitram sales proposals and securing senior management sign off.
- Helping create and maintain training manuals, technical specifications, and product overview documents.
**About You**
You will have a proven background in technical sales or within on-site operational mining roles.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

- Knowledge of the mining process, including exposure to mine control and / or fleet management technologies.
- Good IT skills, including knowledge of SQL databases, network infrastructure, and servers.
- Whilst not essential, exposure to sales or the willingness to learn these skills (e.g. lead generation, networking, communication, closing deals) will be viewed favorably.
