Job Vacancy: Factory Manager

Location: JHB South (Aerotan)

Minimum Requirements:
Matric

Degree or Diploma in Business Management advantageous

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a clothing manufacturing environment with strong skills in meeting Production objectives & Staff Management (+/-80)

Valid driver's license and own vehicle

**Job Description**:
Daily Management of all factory staff including matters pertaining to time keeping, leave and disciplinary issues

Recruitment and selection of appropriate staff

You will be responsible for assisting the owners in introducing a new dynamic factory environment with consideration for

Health and Safety

Risk Management

Plant Management

Quality control

Talent Management

Plan production (raw material to final product) and communicate any deviations from planning (expected) to the operations director

Must ensure the lines are efficient at all times (Cutting, Embroidery, Blocking, Machining, Cleaning and packaging)

Checking production sheets everyday (for production effectiveness) Time studies to be done and held accountable

Build teams within the factory to enhance productivity

Ensure the correct systems are implemented and maintained

Understand the different products and manufacture these with desired specifications as well as documenting the process. Build product data base with product and production specifications

Build samples and patterns

Implementation and enhancing what’s In the business with the following:
Materials Management

Contract Management

Change Management

Performance Management

Working hours

Mon
- Thursday 7:30am to 17:00pm

Fridays
- 7:30am to 16:00pm.

Weekends
- Closed however work will be required as and when necessary, in events of excess workload or deadlines.

**Salary**: Highly negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Pay: R18 500,00 - R19 500,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Aeroton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
