Urchin Restaurant, part of the prestigious Hyatt Regency Cape Town, is looking for a dedicated and reliable Steward to join our back‑of‑house team.

As a Steward, you’ll be an essential part of our operation — ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining impeccable cleanliness, and supporting our chefs in delivering a world‑class dining experience.

**Requirements**:

- Previous stewarding or kitchen cleaning experience preferred (training can be provided)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑end restaurant environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
- Willingness to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Positive, team‑oriented attitude

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
- Operate dishwashing machines and handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Assist chefs with basic kitchen prep when required
- Sort and dispose of waste in accordance with hotel procedures
