The Magic Lightbox Company is a dry-hire facilities company operating out of Bryanston in northern Johannesburg. We are a great team with a fantastic sense of humour and value opportunities to learn, grow and empower. We are a proud contributor to our film and television (Broadcast) industry.

We would like to appoint a live-in Driver/Gear Check Assistant on a rotating shift schedule as soon as possible.

**The following are essential to the position**:
Technical knowledge of equipment
Full driver’s license
Able to live on the premises
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Computer literate
Work well in a team as well as on your own initiative
Excellent communication skills
Able to follow procedure
Good logístical knowledge of Gauteng
Must love Dogs
Contactable references
Own reliable transport
Trustworthy, honest, and reliable
Excellent time-keeping
Terrific, easy-going personality, and can be assertive when called for
Must be of sober habits

**Your duties will include, amongst others**:
Delivering and Collecting equipment to and from set
Managing gear collection and returns after hours
Maintaining company vehicles (fuel, booking in for services and repairs)
Assisting with loading and unloading, so you must be fit and strong
Assist with technical gear checks and returns when needed
Check bookings on our computerised systems (training will be given)
Providing continuous back-up and support to the team
We provide a great work environment and are looking for that extra special person to become part of a fantastic team of industry crazies. You will work changeable shifts which will include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays. Living on the premises is non-negotiable.

Salary depends on experience. Able to start as soon as possible.
