**Key tasks & responsibilities**:
Execute tracking procedures and reports, from collection through to delivery, in accordance with the client’s requirements and internal procedures. Tracking and monitoring of all designated loads/cargo. Identify, manage, and escalate risk concerns.

**Information security**:

- Ensure that all information is kept strictly confidential.
- Verify any request by **ANY** person(s) with the line manager.
- Follow procedures with regard to the disposal of information.
- Follow procedures with regard to the storage and removal of information.
- Report **ANY** suspicious, unauthorised, or abnormal activity to the line manager.

**Monitoring**:

- Monitor all cargo/loads as per instruction on designated intervals (live/set intervals/sporadic).
- Ensure compliance as per SOPs, instruction from line management, and client requirements.
- Report **ANY** variation to procedures immediately.
- Implement corrective action and/or emergency protocols as per the SOP.
- Communicate requirements to relevant and approved third parties as per the SOP and instruction.

**Reporting**:

- Maintain report standards as per designated SOPs.
- Update and deliver reports as per agreed schedules and timing.
- Provide consolidated shift reports to the line manager per shift worked.
- Update and maintain incident/exception reports.
- Prepare and deliver detailed handovers per shift worked.

**Technology**:

- Ensure tracking devices are reporting, charged, and correctly allocated per assigned load/cargo.
- Ensure tracking devices are collected on completion of each trip.
- Ensure tracking devices are tested and charged prior to dispatch to the loading point.
- Test telematics access for each new system.
- Report **ANY** telematics systems, vehicles, or devices not appearing/working/updating correctly.
- Create, modify, and maintain geofences/routes as per SOP.
- Create, modify, and maintain geofence/route reports and notifications as per SOP.

**Qualifications**:

- Matric - Grade 12.
- IT infrastructure/hardware qualification.

**Experience**:

- Experience in logistics would be advantageous.
- Experience in a control room environment would be advantageous.
- Experience in security would be advantageous.
- Own transport is essential.
- Must be willing to undergo a competency evaluation.
- Must be willing to undergo polygraph examination prior to and during employment.
