**Primary Purpose of this Position**:
The successful incumbent is ultimately responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of projects, ensuring that the projects are on time and in scope.

**Project Management**:
- Taking ownership of project needs in line with the Client’s strategy, ensuring that they are facilitated through to completion within the required time frame and budgets
- Effectively communicate the project status to both internal and external stakeholders during meetings, working through project Gantt charts and key stakeholder deliverables
- Maintain an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact
- Manage project administration and reporting through agreed lines on project progress
- Ensure project management governance
- Manage project risks including the development of contingency plans
- Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary
- Manage all third-party contributions to the project
- Develop and control deadlines, budget, and activities
- Create and implement guidelines for evaluating the projects’ strengths and weaknesses
- Use appropriate tools to run and manage the projects
- Develop a complete written plan for the entire project
- Define detailed project plans at the task level with estimates, dependencies, and timelines
- Gain signoffs with project members at key milestones
- Develop and review specification documents for program changes, system integration, and interfaces
- Optimising and improving project management processes and the overall approach where necessary to find efficiency
- Preparation and readiness of plans for go-live
- Manage the development of quality and testing plans and review test results
- Lead post-implementation audit; develop task list of incomplete items and set new dates with internal staff and the vendors. Examples: programs not working correctly; further education and training needed for users; etc.
**Risk and Issue Management**
- Being the point of contact for escalated project risks and issues
- Identify any potential risks to the project and ensure there are risk mitigation plans in place
- Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the project are identified or issues arise
**Communication Management**
- Manage communication with all stakeholders
- Reporting progress of the project at regular intervals to the executive sponsors
- Create an environment where all members of the Project know what to do and how to do it
**Resource Management**
- Creating and maintaining focus, enthusiasm, and momentum
- Lead and evaluate all staff within the program including vendors
- Counsel and discipline team members who do not perform to expectations or who violate company policies
- Appraises team members’ performances and offers feedback to their management
- Work with management to ensure people are available to meet implementation tasks and dates. Examples: review specifications, test programs, review converted files, train, write procedures, etc.S

- Worked on various IT-related projects such as Network Migrations, VOIP Implementations, Data Centre, and cloud Migrations.

- Proven working experience as a Project Manager implementing a software system that will change business processes or other technology-related projects

- Excellent knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programs

- Thorough understanding of program and project management techniques and methods
- Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Sufficient seniority and credibility to advise project teams on the project
