Purpose of job:
The compliance analyst provides compliance related services to clients.
- The main purpose of this job is to provide portfolio analytics and other supporting analysis in relation to institutional client portfolios and within the relevant regulatory frameworks.

**Key competencies, Skills and Attributes or Core Responsabilities:
Work with members of their team to**:

- Retrieve, validate, reconcile, analyse and prepare data for monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables including but not limited to Regulation 28, Regulation 30.
- Interrogate and analyse data.
- Generate client reports.
- Interpret and analyse report results.
- Check reports generated by other Analysts.
- Communicate with clients and respond to report queries.
- Provide ad hoc analyses and supporting output.
- Manually recalculate statistics.

**Work with their compliance line manager to**:

- Develop career objectives and goals.
- Establish a quality management process.
- Research and share emerging best practices.
- Evaluate and assess potential technical solutions.
- Engage with other teams and RisCura business units to ensure a holistic approach to learning and development and systems improvement.

**Work with relevant individuals to**:

- Obtain necessary input in order to meet deliverables.
- Monthly/daily tasks or Key competencies, Skills and Attributes:
Is pro-active, possesses problem solving skills and has attention to detail.
- Takes ownership of reasonability, correctness and delivery of output.
- Able to work well with team members and collaborate on deliverables/projects but also able to work independently.
- Good personal time management and work management skills.
- The nature of the job means that a high level of resilience and emotional maturity is required.
- Ability to work with large quantities of portfolio and market data.
- Understanding of portfolio and instrument level information.
- Interest in financial services and investment compliance.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Other key relationships:
Good relationships with members of their team and other teams.
- Good industry relationships/networking with asset managers and service providers in the industry.
