**MARINE FITTER**
**Viking Fishing Division (South Arm 4)**

Viking Fishing, a Division of Sea Harvest, has the position available for a Marine Fitter reporting to the Engineering Manager.

**RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO)**:

- To diagnose problems and make repairs to existing equipment.
- **QUALIFICATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE**:
The following trade tested qualifications will be considered:

- Mechanical Fitter / Diesel Fitter / Diesel Mechanic.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Must be qualified with a valid trade test certificate.
- Ability and acumen to work independently.
- Strong mechanical background.
- A good knowledge and strong commitment to Health and Safety processes.
- Sound communication skills.
**PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND REQUIRMENTS**
- A Team player and ability to maintain a positive attitude within the team.
- A can-do attitude.
- Be proactive and flexible.
- Medically fit to work on board vessels.
- Punctual
- Sober habits
