Role Overview:
As a Social Media Reel Editor and Creative Thinker specializing in golf content, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, editing, and producing engaging video reels for various social media platforms. Your role will involve leveraging your creativity and passion for golf to create compelling visual content that resonates with audiences, drives engagement, and promotes our brand. This position requires a strong understanding of golf culture, trends, and storytelling techniques, as well as proficiency in video editing software and social media platforms.

**Responsibilities**:

- Content Creation:

- Conceptualize, storyboard, and script ideas for golf-related video reels that capture attention and spark interest.
- Edit raw footage into dynamic and visually appealing reels, incorporating graphics, music, sound effects, and text overlays.
- Ensure that all content aligns with our brand voice, messaging, and marketing objectives.
- Stay updated on golf industry trends, events, and news to inform content creation strategies.
- Creative Strategy:

- Develop innovative approaches to showcase golf-related stories, skills, and experiences in an engaging and shareable format.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas, plan campaigns, and execute creative initiatives.
- Experiment with different editing styles, effects, and techniques to enhance the impact of our content.
- Audience Engagement:

- Analyze audience demographics, preferences, and engagement metrics to tailor content to specific target audiences.
- Monitor social media channels for feedback, comments, and trends, and respond appropriately to foster community interaction.
- Optimize content for maximum reach, visibility, and shareability across platforms.
- Collaboration and Communication:

- Coordinate with content creators, influencers, and other stakeholders to source footage, collaborate on projects, and promote cross-platform initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide creative input and feedback to support the overall content strategy and brand identity.
- Brand Representation:

- Maintain a strong understanding of our brand identity, values, and goals, and ensure that all content reflects and reinforces our brand image.
- Represent the brand professionally and positively in all interactions with partners, sponsors, and the golf community.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in video editing and content creation, with a portfolio showcasing proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Passion for golf and a deep understanding of golf culture, terminology, and trends.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate original ideas and translate them into compelling visual stories.
- Strong attention to detail, visual aesthetics, and storytelling techniques.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of analytics tools and best practices for measuring social media performance is a plus.

Pay: R5,600.00 - R11,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
